Nature Republic: Collagen HD BB Cream
Tuesday, August 20, 2013 | 4:55 AM | | 1 Comments
Revlon Whipped Cream broke me out. I don't know if this only happened on me, knowing that most beauty gurus and enthusiasts loved this foundation. With this, I set out a journey to find less harsh than foundation.
I settled on this nice smelling BB cream from Nature Republic. The sales lady was nice to explain the skin benefits of using this BB cream. It was not quite natural on her skin, seeing that it's a notch whiter than her skin tone. Nonetheless, its blendable texture still drew me in purchasing Collagen HD Cover BB Cream.
I loved the packaging as it's as classy as those in Snoe and Benefit. I think it's informational but I didn't understand it though (it's in Hangul).
I like how it blended in my skin really well. The heat from my fingers did well in making it seep in through my skin. I tried using a flat-top kabuki brush but it did not work out really well. I only has one shade. As discussed by the sales lady, it's one size fits all.
It comes in a squeeze tube so be careful in getting product out of the packaging. You may easily squeeze it too much. You only need a little amount of product for the whole face so you don't need to worry in being to careful in squeezing out the product.
The coverage is amazing! It covered my dark spots and imperfections without making it look cakey. The only problem was it's more suited for lighter skin. It brightened by complexion making my skin uneven (face vs body). With this, I tried to neutralize it with a darker shade of powder foundation.
Just a few reminders, make it a point that you use a darker setting powder if you have a dark skin tone. Also, do not use this product when you'll be under flash photography as it has SPF 27 and PA++. It leaves a white cast on your face which does not show up well in photos.
It's really cheap at Php375.00. It also stays for a long time as long as you powder up every four (4) hours. You may easily get this at any mall or department stores that carry Nature Republic Cosmetics.
I give this product a rating of 7 out of 10.
